About Employer : Indian Navy

The Indian Navy goes to the East India Company Marine established in 1612 to protect British merchant shipping in the region. In 1793, the British East India Company established its rule over the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent (Bengal), but when India became a republic in 1950, the Royal Indian Navy was renamed from 1934 to the Indian Navy.

The Indian Navy only aims to protect the nation’s maritime borders. Along with other armed forces, war and peace have to be maintained. The Indian Army acts to prevent any threat or aggression against the people or maritime interests.

As of June 2019, the Indian Navy has a total of 67,252 active and 55,000 reserve personnel in service. The Indian Navy has 150 ships and submarines, and a fleet of 300 aircraft. As of October 2020, the operational fleet consists of 1 aircraft carrier, 8 landing ship tanks, 1 amphibious transport dock, 10 destroyers, 13 frigates, 1 nuclear-powered attack submarine, etc.”

    • Educational Qualification : (a) Educational Qualification BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline from AICTE recognized institute with minimum 60% marks. The candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in Class 10th & 12th and minimum 60% marks in English (b) Professional Qualification (not mandatory) Holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA(India).”

  1. Exam Name : 10+2 (B.Tech) Exam
    • Educational Qualification : 12th Pass with 70% in PCM and 50% in English in 10th or 12th Class. Shortlisting of candidates for SSB will be based on JEE (Main) – All India Rank (AIR) for BE/B Tech curriculum. The validity of the JEE (Main) rank for applying for the scheme will be one year from the date of declaration of the JEE (Main) ranking by CBSE/NTA.”
