Qualification Requirement: Candidates who participated in the APSC CCE (Prelims) Exam, 2023, and were subsequently shortlisted for the APSC CCE (Main) Exam, 2023, are eligible to submit their applications for the exam through the online portal.
Age Limit of APSC CCE
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as of 1st January 2023.

Note: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council, and no other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.
Other Details of the APSC CCE Exam
Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to submit online applications for this APSC recruitment.
Residency: Candidates must be original inhabitants of Assam.
Language Proficiency: Applicants should be proficient in speaking Assamese or other official languages, associate official languages of the State, or any of the tribal languages of the State.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange Office in Assam.
Small Family Norms: Candidates are required to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” using Form-A when applying for the Combined Competitive (Prelims) Examination.

Stages of the APSC CCE Exam
The APSC Combined Competitive Examination follows a two-stage selection process, wherein candidates must successfully clear both stages to secure their positions. Here’s a brief description of each stage and the APSC CCE Syllabus:
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):
- Name of Exam: APSC CCE Prelims, 2023

- Full Marks: 400 Marks
- Duration of Exam: 2 Hours for Each Paper
- Negative Marking: One-fourth of the total mark assigned to one question will be deducted for a wrong answer

2. Main Examination (Written & Interview):
(A) Written Examination:

3. Final Selection:
- Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (Written Part as well as Interview) will determine their final ranking.

- Reservations will also be taken into consideration during the allotment process.
- The Commission will recommend exactly the same number of candidates for different posts as notified, and no candidate will be recommended for a post they have not opted for.
