Eligibility: All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the Employment Exchange of the State of Assam.
District: The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District.
How to Complete Online Exchange Registration?
Candidates interested in obtaining their Employment Exchange Registration Certificate online are required to submit their applications via the official portal of the Government of Assam. The online application process commenced on September 27, 2021. Two verification methods are available for applicant verification: AADHAAR Based Verification and Non-AADHAAR Based Verification. Applicants are instructed to choose one of these methods when submitting their online applications. Below are brief descriptions of both verification methods:
AADHAAR Based Verification
Candidates selecting the AADHAAR Based Verification method will be exempted from visiting any office for the completion of their Employment Exchange Registration process, as authentication will be facilitated through their AADHAAR details. This method offers simplicity and ease of use, with the only prerequisite being possession of a valid AADHAAR. The online application process for AADHAAR Based Verification will proceed as follows:

➥ After that, you will get an option to download the Employment Exchange Registration e-certificate. |
Non-AADHAAR Based Verification
Candidates opting for Non-AADHAAR Based Verification will be required to personally visit the Employment Office for document verification. They must choose their preferred employment office, along with the date and time for verification. On the scheduled appointment day, candidates must visit the selected employment office to finalize the process and obtain the registration certificate. The online application process for Non-AADHAAR Based Verification will proceed as follows:

Required Documents For Registration
Mobile Number: Candidates will need a valid and active mobile number to complete the registration process.
Educational Documents: Candidates have to produce a single PDF of all their pass certificates and mark sheets. Note that all copies of documents must be scanned and clearly readable otherwise your application may be rejected.
Age Proof: Candidates have to submit any one of the following documents as their age proof.

Proof of Residency: Candidates have to submit any one of the following documents as proof of their residence.

Caste Certificate: Candidates have to upload their caste certificates if they belong to the SC, ST or OBC/MOBC category.
EWS Certificate: If the candidate belongs to the economically weaker section then he/she needs to upload a valid EWS certificate.
PWD: In the case of a PWD (Person with Disability) candidate, a disability certificate issued by the competent authority will be required.
Other: Candidates may require some additional documents as per their category.
